As part of the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Foundational Supports, Brightside ABA Services is offering the following workshop free of charge.
Date: October 19, 2021
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Participants will learn the differences between reinforcement and punishment, as well as learn what reinforcement is and how this impacts behaviour. Information will be shared on how to establish motivation with your child/youth and use motivation for learning new skills. There will be some discussion on the reasons we engage in certain behaviours (the functions of behaviour); whether it is to escape a task, gain attention, access items, etc.
